Dr. Abdul-Aziz is an educational leader, educational technologist, and University Lecturer. She also trains educators as an Apple Professional Learning Specialist on integrating technology into the classroom, has recently created an AI app for educators, and holds a PhD in Educational Technology and Design.
Synopsis- This AI Solution Showcase session shares an Educational Technologist’s experience developing an AI-assisted tool that allows instructors to provide students with personalized, video-based feedback their written work. When her global research with university students and instructors demonstrated that live screencast feedback with written and spoken corrections enhanced student memory and engagement more effectively than traditional written feedback, Dr. Safwa Abdul-Aziz began building a generative AI based tool to help students feel connected to their instructor and expand the practice of providing well-documented encouragement and motivation.
