Tony Crawford

Tony Crawford is an American educator with over 40 years of experience as a teacher, administrator, mentor, consultant, and education leader. Guided by the belief, “Who dares to teach must never cease to learn,” he supports educators in pursuing innovative practices. He has served as a teacher consultant for the National Geographic Society and chaired the National Education Association’s Resolutions Committee. He also contributed to the Oregon High School Diploma Requirements Task Force, the Oregon Legislature’s School Accountability Task Force, and the NEA’s Teacher Professional Standards and Practices Committee. For the past fifteen years, he has worked as an accreditation reviewer across the Middle East.

Synopsis- Maximizing the Learning Experience empowers educators to make the most of every classroom moment through practical, research aligned time management strategies. Participants will explore efficient classroom routines, purposeful opening and closing activities, and engaging learning techniques that sustain student attention. The session also highlights low prep formative assessments, personal productivity habits that reduce stress, and emerging AI tools that streamline planning and classroom organization. Educators will leave with actionable strategies and a personalized plan to enhance time management and elevate the learning experience.
